DESCRIPTION:Interested in helping with environmental conservation? Volunteer for Audubon Dallas Society – Conservation In Action Work Days at Cedar Ridge Preserve (third Saturday\, every month.) Volunteers remove non-native plants\, restore trails\, and work in the butterfly garden. Repairing trails reduces erosion trouble spots and removing non-native plants clears crowded trail edges. \nWe provide snacks\, pruning shears\, shovels\, and work gloves. All you need to bring is water\, sunscreen\, and bug repellent.  \nConservation in Action Workdays – Third Saturdays:  \n\nSeptember through May\, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.\n June through August\, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.  \n\nHabitat Restoration and Trail Maintenance at Cedar Ridge Preserve is on the Third Saturday of every month throughout the year\, rain or shine.   \nQuestions? [Dogs\, picnics and lawn chairs are welcome.] \nDove Springs District Park\, parking lot access available off of Ainez Drive. \nAlcoholic beverages\, glass and styrofoam are NOT permitted in the park. We do provide recycling bins\, but ask that you help us out by packing out all of your own trash. Smoking is also prohibited in the park\, per city law.  \nMovies will begin at dusk!
