SUMMARY:Trash Makeover Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our favorite creative circular economy event—the Trash Makeover Challenge ! \nThis unique fashion show features amateur and professional fashionistas who use at least 90% recycled materials to craft spectacular garments and showcase them in a dazzling spectacle for attendees. The Trash Makeover Challenge will take place at the Texas Disposal Systems Event Pavilion & Wildlife Ranch in southeast Travis County. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. CDT and the fashion show begins at 7:00 p.m. CDT. We will also livestream the event online so people can watch from anywhere. \nOur theme this year is a 1970’s motif Earth\, Wind & Water\, and guests are encouraged to come in costume.  It will be another fantastic evening–attendees will enjoy seeing amazing wildlife while arriving at the TDS pavilion\, delicious food and drinks\, activist highlights\, our Kick-Ass award ceremony\, a live and silent auction\, and of course the unforgettable show of dazzling garments in the 1970’s theme of Earth\, Wind & Water. \nRegistration is open for design teams who wish to participate in the fashion show competition–sign up today ! \nEvent sponsorship and tickets are also open to all who want to support our work toward a cleaner\, healthier future in Texas.
