EarthShare Texas is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Green Leaders Fellowship. With support from H-E-B, we’re excited to bring this program back for a third year.
What is the GLF Program?
The Green Leaders Fellowship (GLF) is a 15-week program that cultivates the next generation of environmental changemakers in Texas. From January to April 2026, fellows will partner with environmental nonprofits for 10–15 hours per week, collaborating on tangible projects such as graphic design, community outreach, data analysis, education, land management, and policy.
Fellows receive a $4,500 stipend, mentorship, and professional development opportunities while building real-world skills and expanding organizational capacity. The program is ideal for emerging leaders in conservation, education, or health who want to contribute their skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow as part of Texas’ environmental movement.
Program Highlights
- Paid Work Experience: Fellows complete deliverables that showcase their skills and support nonprofit capacity.
- Professional Development: Workshops in communications, project management, and leadership.
- Networking & Mentorship: Access to environmental leaders and peer cohort learning.
- Project Variety: From tree nursery planning to legislative research, fellows tackle meaningful work across disciplines.
