Deadline | CEC’s Wild About Houston Film Festival

Last day to submit a film to CEC’s Wild about Houston is November 16, 2025! This year, they’re welcoming documentaries, narratives, animations, and hybrid formats that focus on the Houston area ecosystems, challenges, and solutions. The films may explore climate change, nature, wildlife, air and water quality, youth environmental education, resilience or any local topic that encourages environmental awareness and stewardship. Films must be 5 minutes or shorter.
Judges include Jay Kleberg, producer and host of Chasing the Tide, and Ana Bueno, Univision’s 5X EMMY Award Winner and 3X Telly Award Winner Environment Reporter.
Finalists will be screened and awards announced at The DeLUXE Theater in Houston on January 17, 2025.
