What Is Amplify Austin Day?
Amplify Austin Day is a 24‑hour online giving event that brings Central Texans together to support hundreds of local nonprofits. Powered by I Live Here I Give Here, the event makes it easy for anyone to give back by donating through the AmplifyATX.org platform.
For 24 hours, residents across a seven‑county region unite to support causes they care about — from environmental conservation to arts, education, housing, and more. It’s become a cornerstone of Austin’s culture of generosity, strengthening nonprofits and the communities they serve.
A Quick History of Amplify Austin Day
Launched in 2013, Amplify Austin Day has grown into the largest giving event in Central Texas. Since its inception, the campaign has generated more than $122 million for over 1,600 nonprofits.
In 2025 alone, more than 24,800 donors contributed $9.7 million to 755 participating organizations — a record‑breaking year that demonstrates the power of collective giving.
This momentum fuels year‑round programs from I Live Here I Give Here, all designed to strengthen the region’s nonprofit ecosystem and inspire a culture of generosity.
When Is Amplify Austin Day 2026?
Amplify Austin Day 2026 takes place from:
- 6:00 PM on March 4 to 6:00 PM on March 5, 2026
Early giving is already open as of January 28, and all donations made through March 3 count toward the overall campaign totals. This means you can donate today if you want to!
EarthShare Texas & Amplify Austin Day
We’re proud to participate in our third Amplify Austin Day — joining more than 700 nonprofits across Central Texas.
As a statewide environmental federation, EarthShare Texas supports a network of conservation, climate, wildlife, and sustainability organizations working to protect the places Texans love. Amplify Austin gives us a powerful platform to:

How You Can Participate
Whether you’re an individual, a business, or a community group, there are several ways to get involved:
1. Donate During Early Giving or on Amplify Austin Day
Early giving is open now through March 3, and every early donation counts toward our campaign totals.
Visit AmplifyATX.org to support EarthShare Texas and other environmental nonprofits. Early gifts help build momentum and increase visibility heading into the 24‑hour event.
2. Become a Fundraising Champion
Fundraising Champions (FCs) play a key role in expanding our reach. By creating a personal fundraising page and sharing it with your network, you help bring new supporters into the environmental community.

3. Sponsor a Match or Host a Fundraising Event
Businesses can amplify their impact by:
- Offering matching funds
- Sponsoring an Amplify Fund match
- Hosting a workplace or customer‑facing fundraising event
- Encouraging employees to participate as Business Fundraisers
These partnerships help deepen community engagement and multiply the impact of every donation.
