Join EPIC and Austin Ascents for a morning of rock climbing at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.
This session is best for those with some indoor or outdoor climbing experience.
This is the session for you if: you have some indoor or outdoor experience, you know how to belay a top rope and you may you have some of your own gear (harness, shoes, helmet, belay device).
What you’ll learn: movement skills on rock, belay with different devices, weighted and unweighted belay transfer skills
About Austin Ascents: Austin Ascents provides instruction in rock climbing and offers SOLO Wilderness First Aid 2-day courses and Wilderness First Responder 9-day courses. They provide climbing classes and skills courses at all experience levels for people seeking to expand their skills and knowledge. Click here to learn more!
About EPIC: Emerging Professionals In Conservation, a program of Hill Country Conservancy, is an outdoors club dedicated to exploring and preserving the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country.
