The Great American Cleanup Begins in Texas

The Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest community improvement program. In Texas, we kick things off on March 1.
In 2023, during the Great American Cleanup, volunteers picked up more than 686,000 lbs of trash and recycling across Texas. That’s the weight of more than 30 Big Tex statues combined! Join the effort this year! Anyone can order supplies to clean up a TxDOT-maintained roadway or waterway between March 1 – May 31st.
