Haha real: Cistern Art Installation

Coming this February, the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern will be transformed into a surreal landscape where nothing is quite as it appears. Haha real is an immersive, site-specific art installation by artist Rachel Rossin. Holographic characters, symbols, and carefully manipulated sound elements by Houston musician, Frewuhn, combine to create a unique world inspired by the classic story of The Velveteen Rabbit. Posing questions about the nature of reality, imagination, and connection, Haha real offers an encounter with the unknown.
