Texans are proud to be green. It’s time to show off.
EarthShare of Texas is giving away outdoorsy gifts for the most dedication, creativity, and influence this Earth Month.
Here’s how you can win:
- Use the hashtag #MyEarthMyTexas
- Post more than once between April 1 – 30
- Challenge a friend
How Do I Use the #MyEarthMyTexas Sticker?
Amplify your posts by adding the #MyEarthMyTexas sticker to your images. Download the sticker and use a photo editing software such as canva.com to add it to your photos. Here is a simple tutorial.
How Is the Winner Chosen?
EarthShare of Texas staff will only review and consider public posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with the hashtag “#MyEarthMyTexas” that are posted between April 1 and April 30, 2021. Please note, this review will occur AFTER April 30 and posts must still be accessible to be considered. To win, individuals (1) must demonstrate in their posts their commitment to improving the environment and/or conserving Texas’s natural resources, (2) must use the hashtag #MyEarthMyTexas in their post, (3) must challenge a friend by tagging them in at least one post, (4) must post more than once between April 1 and April 30, 2021.
The #MyEarthMyTexas winner will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated commitment to the Texas environment
- Creativity in environmentalism/conservation/sustainability activities
- Number of posts
- Engagement on posts (likes/comments/shares)
- Influence (number of people tagged in posts)
The winner will be selected and notified by May 15.
