Please join us for the return of our favorite edgy, exciting, and creative event—the Trash Makeover Challenge!
Join us to enjoy a unique show that challenges designers to make clothing out of repurposed materials, participate in deciding the People’s Choice awards, and learn more about our work to fight pollution all over Texas.
This unique fashion show features amateur and professional fashionistas who use at least 90% recycled materials to craft spectacular garments and showcase them in a dazzling spectacle for attendees. This event draws fashion visionaries and tastemakers, local celebrities, elected officials, top environmental activists, business leaders, and other prominent Texas figures.
Featuring: – Live, interactive performance by SaulPaul – Honorees: Travis County Commissioner Brigid Shea & Environmental Attorney Marisa Perales – Emcee Sara Smith, Mrs. Houston World.
Our live and online event will start at 5:00 pm (CST) on Saturday 9/24/22. The in-person event will be at the Texas Disposal Systems Event Pavilion in South Austin.
The Zoom registration link for the online streaming of the event will be sent to ticket purchasers.
