Unplugged Adventure: Ranger Treks on the Prairie

Join us for our monthly nature hike on the Katy Prairie! This month’s theme is Texas Pollinator BioBlitz in participation with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department! Enjoy a guided hike through the prairie, exploring different areas each month. Observe and learn about wildflowers, insects, and birds. Finish with pond dip-netting at the prairie potholes.

All ages are welcome. We’ll start with a brief overview and safety talk. Please wear outdoor clothing including sun/insect protection and close-toed shoes (high socks/boots preferred). Please also bring a water bottle. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. Rain or shine! No registration needed.
