For Earth Month, EarthShare of Texas asked Texans to show us how they contribute to a better environment by posting on social media with #MyEarthMyTexas. Across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram we found more than 200 posts!

But there can only be one winner.

The ESTX team put together a spreadsheet with every post, like, and comment, and came to the conclusion that the winner of the #MyEarthMyTexas challenge is…

TXState.ECO!

The Environmental and Conservation Organization (ECO) hailing from Texas State University in San Marcos is the #MyEarthMyTexas challenge winner.

According to the ECO website, ECO is “A diverse gathering of students who share a common appreciation for the environment. Through our local actions, we encourage progress towards a global, sustainable future. We put this mission into action through the three pillars of ECO: Education, service and change.”

Check out a few of their contributions to the #MyEarthMyTexas campaign.

Congratulations, TXState.Eco! We appreciate all your hard work cleaning up the environment and setting an example for others.

It would seem that the students of this organization are enjoying their summer vacation. All of our efforts to reach the students have gone unanswered. So if you’re reading this, please get in touch because we have a $200 H-E-B gift card for you!
