My Earth My Texas – an Earth Month Sustainability Challenge! Running late March through April 22nd. We challenge individuals, groups, and companies throughout Texas to show off and stand for their green pride. This campaign offers various, rewarding ways to participate. You may recognize some of the logos of our local and state-wide nonprofit members working to conserve, preserve, and protect Texas’ natural resources. Our impact areas range from nature conservation to sustainable design & infrastructure and everything in between.
EarthShare Texas is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) federation of 35 Texas-based environmental charities. Founded in 1992, we have a 30-year legacy of providing stable funding to Texas’ most impactful organizations and have so far raised more than 19 millions dollars for our nonprofit members through innovative fundraising and corporate partnerships.
Anytime you make a choice that benefits the environment, post on Instagram about it. We’re looking for commitment to sustainability, creativity, and your influence on your community.
Organizations and groups are eligible to register for the My Earth My Texas campaign and enjoy the use of the EarthShare Engage app. Registration opens January 18th and runs through March 11th.
EarthShare Texas will award the top point acquiring individual with a fun eco prize. Organizations are also encouraged to provide prizes or incentives for top scoring individuals within their team.
EarthShare Texas supports you with internal communications, media kits, and environmental focused content to get your team excited to be green. We’ll have weekly emails with green tips and hacks, local volunteer opportunities, and eco education.
With each green action, the EarthShare Engage App tallies an approximate environmental benefit in three main categories: pounds of waste diverted from the landfill, gallons of water conserved, and CO2 emissions curbed. Measurements are available at the individual and organization level.
