What is Amplify Austin Day?
Amplify Austin Day is a 24-hour online fundraising event held annually in Austin, Texas. Organized by I Live Here I Give Here, this event encourages the community to donate to local nonprofits and charities through a simple online platform. It’s a chance for everyone to support causes they care about, from education and healthcare to arts and the environment.
The event brings Central Texans together, creating a sense of unity as people come together to give back. Amplify Austin Day has grown into a major event, helping to foster a culture of giving and community support that strengthens Austin and its surrounding areas.
Amplify Austin Day: A Quick History
In 2013, I Live Here I Give Here launched Amplify Austin Day with the goal of creating Central Texas’s first-ever 24-hour day of giving. Over the past 12 years, this campaign has raised more than $112.7 million, benefiting over 750 local nonprofit organizations.
The incredible success of Amplify Austin Day has not only strengthened the local nonprofit sector but has also paved the way for I Live Here I Give Here to develop year-round programs that continue to engage and empower individuals, companies, nonprofits, and foundations. Through these initiatives, we are fostering a culture of generosity and working toward building a more equitable community for all.
When is Amplify Austin Day?
Amplify Austin Day 2025 will take place from 6:00 PM on March 5th to 6:00 PM on March 6th. During this 24-hour window, you can visit the online platform to contribute to your favorite local nonprofits, amplifying the impact of your donation. It’s a brief but meaningful opportunity to support causes close to your heart and close to your neighborhood.

EarthShare Texas is a nonprofit federation that unites local environmental organizations across the state to address conservation challenges and create a healthier Texas. Donate to Local Organizations
The Amplify Austin Early Giving period is now open from January 29th through March 4th, offering a great opportunity to support your favorite causes before the big 24-hour giving event on March 5th – 6th. Any donations made during this early period will count toward our campaign goals, helping to build momentum for the main event. Your contributions during this time play a crucial role in helping us reach our target and make an even bigger impact.
