Austin Green Business Leaders: Start Your Green Team [Video]

On April 14, EarthShare of Texas in collaboration with the City of Austin and BAE Systems hosted a free lunchtime webinar for all green business leaders looking to start a green team at their workplace.

Speakers included Ron Filan and Amber Silkerson who work at BAE Systems. Their presentation included examples of sustainability initiatives they have led at the Austin BAE campus such as native landscaping, grey water reuse, and recycling programs, as well as how they engage employees in sustainable activities both at work and in their own communities.

• Community engagement
• Green program marketing & visibility

The webinar concluded with a Q&A with business leaders in attendance and input from charities in the EarthShare of Texas network.
