EarthShare of Texas attained its second consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator on December 1, 2020 for demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency.

This recognition validates EarthShare of Texas’ strong financial position, which is important to many donors. The nonprofit also ensures financial and operational excellence through their member organization vetting process, by keeping a keen eye on efficient operations, and by providing stable investments to environmental nonprofits making a worthwhile difference in Texas.

Executive Director of EarthShare of Texas, Francoise Van Keuren, commented “Strong financial management and transparency is a core value of EarthShare of Texas. We work hard to make sure we can accept large-scale donations for conservation and environmental causes and give our donors peace of mind that their dollars are making a maximum impact across the Lone Star State.”

Michael Thatcher, Charity Navigator’s president and CEO, explained in a letter to EarthShare of Texas “This is our highest possible rating and indicates that your organization adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way. Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that EarthShare Texas exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work. Only 32% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 2 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that EarthShare Texas outperforms most other charities in America.”
